The short version
We collect the minimum needed to run an event guide and an SMS service. We never sell your information, and we never share it with advertisers. Personal data stays in our own database in Canada-controlled infrastructure — not with third-party analytics.
If you text with Pulse
We keep your phone number, your message history with the service, preferences the service learns from your messages (like “prefers jazz”), and a record of your consent — when and how you opted in, as Canada’s anti-spam law (CASL) requires. We use this to answer you and to send only what you asked for. Text STOP at any time to opt out; we keep the opt-out record so we never text you again.
Links we text you
When you open a link from one of our texts, we record that the link was opened: which link, when, and a coarse device type (phone, computer, or automated preview). Nothing else — no browsing fingerprint, no IP address, and never any third-party tracker on those pages.
If you browse this website
Website pages may use Google Analytics to count visits anonymously — which pages are popular, roughly where visitors come from. That measurement never includes the pages reached from texted links, and it is never connected to a phone number.
If you use a “Text me this” box
We store your number, the page you used it from, and what you asked about, as your consent record, and the service texts you about exactly that. Same opt-out as above, any time.
