Date: Saturday, October 17 Time: 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm Venue: Community Room @ EPL, Stanley A Milner Library Tickets: $20 Limited Capacity: 14 participants Join Rachel Phan for this generative nonfiction workshop about shame, visibility, race, ambition, femininity, anger, desire, and “likability.” In this workshop, participants will: - Write about a trait they’ve been criticized for - Reframe “flaws” or "problems" as narrative engines - Explore contradiction and complexity in memoir - Learn how to balance vulnerability with humour

The workshop combines memoir craft with social commentary and identity exploration.
