(November 17, 2025) – For the sixth time in history, the Command Tubular PBR (Professional Bull Riders) Canada National Finals, presented by Edmonton’s Best Hotels, will be held in Edmonton, Alberta. The season-culminating event, part of the elite Cup Series, will return to the state-of-the-art Rogers Place Nov. 13-14 to crown the 2026 PBR Canada Champion. Season long, riders have the opportunity to compete at dozens of Cup Series and Touring Pro Division events across Canada to earn points towards the Canadian national standings, all in an effort to be the No. 1-ranked cowboy at year’s end and earn the coveted PBR Canada Championship. The Command Tubular PBR Canada National Finals, presented by Edmonton’s Best Hotels, are the richest international finals across the PBR. In 2026, the event will pay out a record $275,000 purse, including a $100,000 bonus to be awarded to the 2026 PBR Canada Champion, and $50,000 awarded to the National Finals event winner. PBR Canada’s return to Edmonton comes on the spurs of a record-setting 2025 campaign. In 2025, Canada’s elite Cup Series set tour records in eleven cities, welcoming more than 75,000 fans, including a record crowd in Edmonton for the National Finals of more than 17,300 fans. On the dirt, the 2025 season marked the first that the organization awarded more than $1 million to competitors across the 36-event season. The bull riding action for 2026 Command Tubular PBR Canada National Finals, presented by Edmonton’s Best Hotels, begins at 7:00 p.m. MST on Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14 at Rogers Place. Tickets for the event go on sale Friday, November 21 at 10:00 a.m. MST, and start at $40, standard fees may apply. They can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.ca. Those fans who purchase tickets for both nights will receive a 20% discount. The 2026 slate of events marks the 11th season for the PBR Canada Cup Series, as a unified competitive series traveling across the country and broadcast on TSN. This past November, Jared Parsonage (Maple Creek, Saskatchewan) cemented his name in the bull riding record books, delivering a perfect 4-for-4 performance to win the National Finals en route to being crowned the 2025 PBR Canada Champion. He finished 213 points ahead of No. 2 Dakota Buttar (Eatonia, Saskatchewan). The veteran Saskatchewan man made history as the first rider to ever win the PBR Canada Championship and CPRA (Canadian Professional Rodeo Association) bull riding championship in the same season. A few weeks prior to the PBR Canada National Finals, Parsonage won his third career CPRA title inside Rogers Place. Additionally, Parsonage is just the third rider in history to win the National Finals multiple times. Having first won the year-end event in 2022, Parsonage joins the likes of Zane Lambert (Ponoka, Alberta) who achieved the feat in 2016 and 2017, and Daylon Swearingen (Piffard, New York) who won the National Finals in 2019 and 2021. Moments after winning the coveted PBR Canada honors, Parsonage announced his retirement from the sport of bull riding inside the home of the NHL’s Edmonton Oilers. Parsonage earned $150,000 inside Rogers Place, including the $100,000 Champion’s bonus, concluding the 2025 campaign having won $230,101.73 on home soil. When the dust settled, Parsonage finished the season having gone a torrid 33-for-51, covering 64.71% of his animal athlete opponents.
