Get tickets →With so many fidget clicker options out there, why not learn how to use basic keyboard parts and the power of 3D printing to create your very own fidget clicker! In this design class you’ll learn the basics of 3D modeling for 3D printing using Tinkercad to create your very own custom fidget clicker. A class that fits any level of 3D modeling experience from beginner to expert. The class will focus on Tinkercad’s ability to import premade models and its subtractive and additive functions to create unique objects. During the class, you will: Learn the basic interface and workflow of Tinkercad Learn how to design for 3D printing Import 3D models/SVGs Add and subtract objects together to create custom objects Export final models as the proper 3D print file type No prior experience with 3D printing or design is required. This class is ideal for beginners eager to learn the basics of 3D design. NOTE: This is a 3D design class. You will not be printing your fidget clicker during the class. You do not need the 3D Printing 101 Certification to attend this class. Your fidget clicker will be printed after the class by Makerspace staff. It will be available for pick-up within 2 weeks of the class. This class is intended for ages 15 and up. REGISTRATION STARTS ON OCTOBER 4 AT 9AM. REGISTRATION IS VIA ZEFFY. THERE IS A $10 COST FOR THIS CLASS. ALL MATERIALS ARE PROVIDED. We are unable to process refunds for this class.
