The Musicians for Canada: A Benefit Concert for Canadian Unity is a concert that aims to support Canadian unity and assist inner city agencies. Scheduled for July 22, 2026, at the Heritage Amphitheatre in Hawrelak Park, Edmonton, the event will feature a lineup of Alberta's finest musicians, including Secondhand Dreamcar, The McDades, Mbira Renaissance Band, Stewart MacDougall, and the New Chinook Arch Riders. The concert will also include performances by Tracy Millar and John Wort Hannam, The P. J. Perry Quintet, and Calgary's blues aces The Porch Dogs. Proceeds from the concert will be directed to the Edmonton Food Bank, The Bissell Centre, and Sanctuary of Peace, supporting those experiencing homelessness and food insecurity. The event is a collaborative effort by P.J. Perry, Cam Hayden, Vici Wynn, and Peter North, with the goal of celebrating Canadian unity through music and raising funds for essential services.
